Gustavo Martinez, PT, DPT

Webinar (June 2022) Topic: Treating the Spanish Community

This webinar is for those interested in learning how to better treat patients of the Spanish community. Whether it's directly making an impact or learning basic Spanish to better communicate with your patients, this webinar will help identify how you can better help patients of hispanic heritage.

Bio: Hola, I am Gustavo Kennedy Martinez born and raised in Oklahoma. My parents immigrated from Mexico in the 1970s, and I'm proud of my heritage. Growing up I had an interest in being a sobandero or huesero. However, at a young age I was discouraged. Fortunately, I learned about physical therapy in my early 20s and pursed the route of a D.P.T. Along that journey, I have been blessed with serving on multiple leadership positions locally, nationallly, and internationally. Those experiences inspired me to create a community for Spanish Speaking professionals and those we render our services to called Fisio Spanish Speaking Network (FisioSSN). I graduated in May 2021 and started immediately with travel PT. It is a privilege to meet you all!
