About our speaker: Madeline Ratoza graduated from the University of California, San Francisco and San Francisco State University with her DPT in 2015. She has diverse clinical experience across practice settings. She currently is a PhD candidate at Texas Woman’s University and an Assistant Professor and Associate Director of Clinical Education at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Texas. Madeline’s research agenda focuses on student loan experiences and financial literacy in the DPT curriculum as well as health equity and access.

Speaker: Jasmine Blocker, PT, DPT
About our speaker: Dr.Jasmine earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from Shenandoah University in 2021. During the same year, she completed an Early Intervention Certificate Course via Georgetown University. Jasmine has been working full time in pediatrics, primarily serving the birth-3 years of age population. She also has experience working for an in-patient rehabilitation hospital and skilled nursing facility with the adult and geriatric population. Jasmine currently works at an outpatient pediatric clinic on Maui. Jasmine is a dedicated eternal learner and she completed the Medical University of South Carolina’s “Lend Program,” which aims to improve access to healthcare and services for children and families disabilities. Jasmine is passionate about her career and educating people about the diverse field with her instablog titled “DPTANDME.” In addition, she has partnered with “Pediatric Source, LLC” to make a CEU course on the topic of torticollis. Jasmine is also the author of an interactive book titled “2.76” which shares her personal challenges and triumphs throughout her PT school journey. Her book is available to purchase on Amazon.

About our speaker: Marci Silverberg has been working as a Physical Therapist for over 2 decades. She specializes in treating both men and women with both pelvic floor and orthopedic dysfunction. Her clinic, Pelvic Path, is a cash based multi provider clinic based in San Rafael , CA, in Marin County. Her experience is in the areas of both Neurology and Orthopedics. She has been a teacher to Samuel Merritt Students while working as an instructor in the PNF Residency program at Kaiser Vallejo. She applies the whole body and multidisciplinary approach she used at that time towards both her clients and her team of PT’s. She provides mentorship and an in house residency program to foster PT’s competence and confidence in treating Pelvic Health conditions with a whole body approach.
